The
Flatulent Fairies
Activities
The main activity organised by the Flatulent Fairies is the world famous Fat Bloke Sevens tournament, held each year in Berkshire to provide an opportunity for overweight, unfit and unskilled rugby players to take part in a sevens competition.
The Fairies have also taken part in two Dragon Boat regattas the Marlow Regatta in 2005 and the Hurley Regatta this year. It is a superb day out and lots of fun, despite every member of the crew getting soaked.
In August the Fairies entered the Bognor Birdman. On Sunday 21st August, Bognor seafront turned pink and green as two brave airmen launched into the void off Bognor pier. As Fairies - we knew they could fly - you simply have to believe!
The Fairies will "fly" again at the 2006 event on September 10th - come along and have a laugh (with them, not at them - oh please yourself).
More rugby-type sport has been attempted by the Fairies, they "compete" in the Reading In2Touch Touch Rugby league.
